i want to start off by saying that i have a nut allergy, but like to live on the edge. anyway, i called ahead to check what oil they use (soybean), and proceeded to order a Thai iced coffee w/ sweetened condensed milk, spring rolls, pineapple fried rice, and mango sticky rice. Coffee: 7/10, very sweet, but still yummy! and i never pass down coffee Spring Rolls (No Shrimp): 6/10, sauce looked like it had nuts so i didn’t risk that, but the ingredients were nice and fresh!! Pineapple Fried Rice (Mild w/ Mock Duck): 10/10, no notes. it’s just really good Mango Sticky Rice: 8/10, first time trying it!!! not a HUGE mango fan but i do love coconut Overall: 7.75/10 great overall and the portions are huge, so now i have food for the week!

My go to spot, even after I no longer live in SE Minneapolis. Really decent prices that used to be insanely good pre pandemic, and I always love when the staff recognize and remember me. My favorite :) pad Thai is what I always get, but the appetizers are v good as well.

I am writing this while eating. Their foods are super fresh and good. I tried couple places around Minneapolis and St Paul but here is definitely my go to from now on Their thai milk tea stands out, it's way better than any other boba stores Their soups are super tasty

Wow the food was so good here! Nice staff and quiet calming environment to eat at. The tofu peanut curry was very flavorful and the shrimp pad thai tasted fresh and yummy!

I recently dined at Thai cuisine Xpress and it was an unforgettable experience! From the moment we walked in, the warm, inviting atmosphere made us feel right at home. The decor, with its rich colors and traditional Thai accents, added an authentic touch. The menu was extensive, offering a range of classic Thai dishes, and every dish we tried was bursting with fresh, bold flavors. Thai basil chicken, which was savory and aromatic. The Pad Thai was a standout—perfectly cooked noodles with just the right amount of sweetness and crunch. The staff was friendly and attentive, happy to make recommendations and explain the level of spice in each dish. They even offered a milder version for one of our friends who isn’t used to spicy food, which was a thoughtful touch. I highly recommend trying the mango sticky rice for dessert. It was a delightful ending to an exceptional meal. Thai cuisine xpress is a must-visit for anyone looking for authentic Thai flavors, fantastic service, and a cozy ambiance. I can’t wait to go back!"

The food at this place is affordable and delicious, with big portions that never leave me hungry. My go-to dish is the pad thai. I've always opted for takeout, and it has been consistently satisfying every time. However, I can imagine that dining in would provide an equally enjoyable experience. Overall, this spot has become a favorite.... The food is even good cold as left overs too!

Amazing food! - Huge portion size at reasonable price - Quick preparation -Delicious food - Best Customer service. The lady at the counter always does Namaste and that's amazing to see and feel that culture being represented. I have tried vegetarian version of Papaya salad. My friend ordered Beef Pineapple fried rice and Sweet &Sour Chicken( below pictures represent these dishes). Both were delicious and finger licking. Highly recommend! Side note: It was saddening to see less customers, I hope we can support this small restaurant to recover from pandemic loss and help them survive and grow. Hopefully it get better soon.
